Concept for exhibition:

My concept for the theoretical exhibition is something similar to the Tűzraktár.

In theory it looks like this:

People pay a small amount of money if they want to go in, inside in the rooms there are pictures of all kind, and so the people will walk around check them, and chat.

In the middle of the house were there is "nothing" a bar would be installed and music would be played, so that people if they would like to take a short break can go down, have a refreshment or maybe even a small snack, while listening to music.

The disadvantage about this concept is that it is actually only realisable in the summer time. Or not only, but it would attract more people.

last week we went to the flat galleries and I got really surprised cause I know that many things exsit though I've never heard of flat galleries.

Due to the fact that I only could see two galleries I will only talk about those. The first one we went to wasn't to attractive in my eyes, maybe because it felt a bit small and the arrangement of those little "bike artpieces" were a bit disturbing for me.

The second gallery therefore was really inviting and the pieces nice arranged. For that reason if I would have to choose I would tkae the second, cause it made me feel better.

Mucha and the Fine Arts museum.

Rita already asked me in the exhibition whether I liked it or not or what I would make different. The thing I disklied the most was the light. Ok, I don't know whether thre would have been another possibility to get that better, but it gave the observer (me) the feeling of tiredness and I did'nt like that. And What i know for sure now is that I don't like Mucha

during one lesson we talked about EVERYTHING what is important in order to have a succesful exhibition. And I was surprised, it really is a lot. We wrote everything on smaller pieces of paper and stuck them onto the whiteboard, after having sorted out in which order things have to be done.
This lesson as extremely useful as it was sort of a look behind the curtains.

Applied arts museum visit:

To be honest I felt as if it would have been made with not enough love for the detail.

For me there was no clear concept apparent after which the exhibition was put together and that feeling took some points of the whole thing. And what we all agreed on was that the part which was missing most were partly descriptions at all, or if not then there was non about the materials.

The building itself therefore is really nice.

We went to the LUMU in order to see the exhibition called "Arctic Hysteria". And there is nothing else for me to say here as that I really really enjoyed it.

works were really nice and our curator as well, and she showed us around, explained and answered questions. In my opinion an exhibition how it should be. Might also due to the huge amount of money they've invested into it.

Best part for sure was the room with the four screens.

During one lesson we talked about what for a hypothetical exhibition we want to.

The reason why I remember for that is that we only talked about it rather shortly (taking into consideration we have 3h). After that the class was chatting with each other.

I found that the classes we have in school are to long to fill them, as in comparison when we go to a museum or something else the time always fits perfect.

Once we met at the Moszka Ter to check a small street with galleries and were dirrectly put into deep water. We helped them to make the hangers and to estimate if the pictures are straight, how much space should be between them. And also putting onto the wall the name of the exhibition.

If I remember correctly we went to three galleries and the differences were astonishing, but I figured out that thats good for having more variety in the arts business.

Rita brought a huge amount of catalogues to class and gave us the task that we should (in groups) go over them, check them carefully and tell what pleased us and what we didn't like.

I was surprised on how carefully one should create his/her catalogue so that the person who gets it, is pleased with it. E.g. nobody appreciated too big catalogues as they were unhandy.

Actually this is one of the things one knows, but most often only really pays attention to it, when he/she is directly confronted with the issue.

How to create an Exhibition, the ne practica in this semester.

Sounded interesting an made me curious. Fact is: More and more exhibitions are held and this course should show me and the others (at least those who weren't familiar with the topic) who much effort actually lies behind it.

Exhibition need a lot of planning so that everything goes fine. I have to admit that this topic caught my attention.

Last Week we sat in class and watched all the for movies which the groups produced. It was really funny. And it was nice3 to see that we have potential .

It was nice to see how we connected the knowledge we got last year with a "new topic" --Y Music. The whole process of learning this stuff was (besides hard sometimes) really amusing

The last task in this semester was to make a three minute music video advertising a wine region.

The thing had two requirements: At the end two people have to toastand the second thing was that in the last 15 seconds a song from Barry White must be played.

This time the the groups were bigger consisting of 4-5 persons. I was in the group of Evi, Adel and Anna.

The idea then came that we have a couple, sitting in a restaurant, having a blind date, drinking wine, leaving the resturant she goes to his place, they have sex and in the morning he can't remember.

Adam and Claire were so nice to be our actors and the whole group was really satisfied with the result.

After long disscussions that it was hard to work with the editng software Phil managed to get a new one Pinnacle, which is really worth it.

Well, after investing a bit of time to understand it better, it went smoothly.

Few days later the weeding was and we went there in order to get our scenes.

It was interesting because we would only get one chance to get good footage for the movie.

The fact that the dancing room was rather dark we first thought that we'll get bad footage which we wouldn't be able to use. The second thing which made filming the groom and bride a complicated task was that everybody went into that room in order to see them or dance.

But the movie was finally edited the worries weren't necessary.

Video

Evi Adel and me had our idea and wanted to get it started. The topic was to film a blind couple getting married but in such a manner that the viewer wouldn't find it out.

Before meeting the couple we planned carrefully so that we exactly know which sences to show. When we went there everything couldn't have gone smoother. And we had the first part for our video.

Another time we watched a live broadcasting from hich I forget the name to be honest. Phil explained how much work, effort and especially presiceness has to be put into such an event. Everything has to be planned through so that it passes as smooth as possibe.

Video Prod.

So, because of not writing the blogs continously, I will do it now.

Soon it was time to get together ito groups again in order to shoot the Second Movie.

The basics which we've in class should be put into practice. But Phil said that this time the grading won't be too hard. My consisted of Evi, Adel and me and we started thinking about what to shoot. And by coincidence we soon had an idea.
